This blog is about Hanoi's anniversary. On October 10, 2010 Hanoi will be 1000 years old and my own photographic road to this event will be captured in a few hundred steps. At the starting point Hanoi has 642 days to go. 642 is of no specific importance, it is just where I start. I won't cover the entire 642 days, as the countdown is about Hanoi and when I am not in Hanoi there will be no posting.

June 27, 2009 Back from the market, ready to be boiled and chopped to pieces. The result is chewy chicken with many bone splinters. Loved by the whole nation, hated by many westerners.
